Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season four. She played a cook who was named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 90s, Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star along with Carol Burnett. Barone also played the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller during her first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone following her departure from the show because she wanted to be a part-time character in a larger role, took her place. She was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season between 1995 and 1996 as well as The War at Home, from 2005-2007. Barone co-starred with Daddio in 2000. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in the year 2004 for her role in the feature film One Last Ride. Barone plays a part that she reprises in Shake It Up on Disney Channel that began the following year, three years after The War at Home had been completed. In this role she is played by officer Georgia Jones who is the mother of CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
