Shawnee Smith, who is an American singer and actress is best known for her performance in the Saw movie series. She is also called"The "scream Queen" because of the many horror films in which she has appeared. Shawnee Smith is best known for her role in "The Stand," a film inspired by Stephen King's novel that has the same title. She's made a number of guest appearances on television shows including 'Cagney & Lacey Married With Kids,' 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Players. In the early 2000s she was fronted by the punk/metal duo 'Fydolla ho', which toured both the US as well as the UK. She was a member of 'Smith and Pyle' a country-rock desert group that included actress Missi Pyle. The first album they released, It's Ok to be Happy, was recorded in Joshua Tree. The band's busy careers in acting as well as their personal lives led to the demise of the group. Shawnee is a pro at many instruments. She can play the piano as well as guitar and drums. She has also served as vocalist in the solo music of the film 'Catacombs.
