Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer and actress. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish as well as Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment in her early years. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was also cast in TV and newspaper advertisements. In addition to learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career in the year 2000. Bell appeared as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a member of the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the part of Dorothy. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater after the completion of her studies. Bell left the university in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the scene where she played the role was removed. As a result, only her credit sequence exists. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
