Richards was born in Penarth (Wales). She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She was the host of the Welsh popular teen magazine Mosgito for S4C and appeared in short films prior to getting roles of significant importance in BBC TV programmes Crash and Being Human. 2nd of 2012, she was cast as an executive assistant in Breaking In on FOX with an exaggerated English accent. [3] In January 2012 , she became an ongoing Breaking In host. [4][5] She co-starred in the character of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. She played Barbara Kean on the FOX Television show Gotham from 2014 to 2019. She was the director of the fifth season's episode "The Trial of Jim Gordon", which premiered on March 7, 2019. [1][88. FOX reports that she'll star with Max Brown (and John Hurt) in an unreleased independent film called That Good Night. She was also featured in The Quiet Ones, Open Grave as well as in the television show, Being Human in the UK. She currently lives in New York City, Los Angeles, London.
